Justin Bieber to spar with boxer David Haye

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber and Ricky Gervais will show off their fighting skills with British boxing champion David Haye as part of his new TV show. Haye's new Sky1 documentary series, David Haye Vs, will air during the build-up to the heavyweight star's title fight against Wladimir Klitschko on July 2. And David, 30, asked for five celebrity friends to join him on the show, including Justin, Ricky, Dizzee Rascal, Mickey Rourke and Michael McIntyre for the two 60-minute specials. The programmes will feature the boxer training and chatting with the celebrities in his gyms in Miami, London and New York. David Haye Vs Ricky Gervais, Justin Bieber and Dizzee Rascal is set to air in the UK on June 28.

Pop star Justin Bieber is set to play at an intimate concert to help children get into college. The 17-year-old will perform at Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California, on June 11 to raise funds for College Track, an after-school programme which aims to help students apply for further education. Tickets for the gig range from $250 to $1,500 apiece. Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher, 33, has praised the U Smile singer for agreeing to perform in the show. He wrote: "Hey Justin Bieber proud that you are playing a show for College Track. Good on you.".

The 17-year-old heartthrob, who is dating Selena Gomez, can apparently hold his own on the weights bench, despite his small frame. Tyrell Ogloff trained with Bieber at his local gym when the singer visited his home town of Stratford, Ontario, in Canada, and told The Sun, "Justin was definitely on a mission to pump up. "He's pretty small but can pump a lot. "He benched 120 pounds for his chest and did about 400 crunches and sit-ups to build his core. He's in really good shape.".
